This race distance: 
34km; 21km; 10km. The second of four races in the FNQ Trail Running Series, this race is named after what is probably the most common snake seen in the rainforest. The Black Snake not aggressive, and while its bite is considered dangerous,

The FNQ Trail Running Series consists of four events: Race 1: 18km Barron Gorge; Race 2: 34km Black Snake Trail Race; Race 3: Mt Haig Trail Marathon and Race 4: Kuranda to Port Douglas.
