5 mile races
We are excited to offer a new course this year in partnership with our beneficiary, Billings TrailNet! All funds raised from the 2019 Quality of Life Run will directly benefit Billings TrailNet to support their fundraising efforts for the construction of a 730 foot key segment of currently unconnected trail. The trail will extend from Zimmerman Park, underneath the new pedestrian underpass connecting to the Zimmerman Place neighborhood.
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot allows participants to partake in either a timed 5-mile run or an untimed 2-mile walk and is open to everyone of all ages and abilities. Don’t forget to bring your favorite cuddly companion for the 2-mile Dog Jog.
This event is meant to be fun for the whole family, not just seasoned athletes; perfect for anyone who wants to kick off Thanksgiving Day with a bit of exercise and a lot of fun!
A 5-mile or 2-mile run/walk where participants will run through the village, around the fields, up and down hills, over logs, through the woods, across creeks and more.
Enjoy a scavenger checkpoint adventure around historic downtown Redwood City. Using a specially-made map, discover rich history, flavorful landmarks, answer multiple-choice questions at each, and have fun finding your way in-between checkpoints. After finishing, enjoy refreshments, socializing, an instant raffle, and a shopping discount from Sports Basement, our event host.
