The Escalante Canyons races are held the second Saturday of October each year; this year's race date is October 12, 2019. The marathon begins in Boulder, Utah, and traverses a spectacularly scenic and challenging course through slickrock to Escalante. The half marathon course covers the last half of the marathon course, with both races taking place on Scenic Route 12 in the heart of southern Utah.

The Grand Prix 5K Run/Walk will take place on the world-famous Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach race course! The start/finish line will be on Shoreline Drive, and the course will include S. Pine Avenue, Seaside Way and feature its own hairpin turn at Shoreline and Ocean Blvd. – just like the one that Indy cars navigate every year!

Funds raised from this event support Team Lucky Seven, Inc. and its mission of 'Racing to Fight Brain Disease'. In the first four years $18,000 was granted to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, for the express purpose of Neurological research only. Funds have supported research in Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s and ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).

Run the Rocks offers a 10K run option (limited to 500 participants) in addition to the 5K run/walk. Run the Rocks will bring communities together for the fight for good lung health and air quality.
