This is the Path to Parenthood 5K, in support of Kansas City Infertility Awareness Foundation (KCIA). Proceeds from this event fund KCIA’s Family Building Grant program, providing financial aid to KC locals to help with treatment and adoption costs.

Participants of all fitness levels are encouraged to join us for the 5K run/walk event. Additionally, all ages are welcome to participate in a One Mile Awareness Walk and/or Kids Fun Run. If you are unable to join us at the event but would like to support KCIA or someone you know, you may sign up as a Virtual Runner.

Forever Young 5K Color Run

The Forever Young Memorial 1M & 5K Color Run are in memory of Lindsay Nichols and Kelsey Lee. Lindsay was the victim of a domestic violence homicide in Jesup, Iowa in March 2012 and Kelsey passed away in December 2011 after a seven year battle with cancer. Both girls were classmates and 2008 graduates of Waterloo East High School. Lindsay graduated from Covenant School of Radiology and Kelsey graduated from Hawkeye Community College, but pursued careers in the medical field.
