Keeping the memory of Ryan Meece alive! This 5K run on the cross country course of Eastern Illinois University provides more than your "typical" race. 5K run and 5K walk begin at 8 AM, followed by a Kids' Dash. Adidas running shoes awarded to top male and female finishers. Running apparel and medals to age group winners. Fun for the entire family! Proceeds benefit: EIU cross country program, $1000 EIU scholarship, donations to various causes/organizations, and the Meece children's college fund.
