Categories are useful for finding and grouping events. Each category has a category page listing all the events in that category. They are added when an event is created. They are found just above the body area on the event creation page. When adding categories type a few letters and wait for the drop down choices and choose one of them if yours is not there you can type it in. There can be small differences such as St Louis and Saint Louis so try to use one which is already there to get your event in this category.

In the above picture you can see the drop down menu after typing ad. If the first one is chosen then all events managed by Adrenaline Sports Management would be shown on a page.

Category links will take you a list of all things in that category. They are at the top of every page that is categorized. The link triathlons in the picture above will open up a list of all triathlons with most recently listed first. If Springfield is chosen then a list events in cities named Springfield would be shown, notice they are not limited to Springfield Illinois

If you list your running clubs races on this race calendar and put your running club in the running club category then anyone can get a separate list of your races.
