Kentucky State Parks 5K Race Series - http://www.parks.ky.gov/raceseries
Runners and walkers are invited to compete in a unique series of 5K courses featured at four Kentucky State Parks. Take this opportunity to participate in challenging courses with various park terrains. We encourage everyone to participate in the entire series of races. But you can enter the races individually.
If running is not your thing, then take part in our 5K “Get Fit” Fun Walk! Runners who participate in the entire race series earn points and are eligible for the overall championship and special giveaways! All ages and skill levels are welcome!
Bring your whole family for a weekend getaway and enjoy our beautiful state parks! Begin the series on April 10th at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville for the Goose Creek 5k. Race begins at 9:00am. To register, call 502-564-4940 x247 or download a registration form at www.parks.ky.gov/raceseries.
