The Fox and Hound 5k returns to Newport with a new element that will have hundreds partying on the Purple People Bridge!

The 2nd annual event to benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cincinnati will take place on Thursday, August 25th at 7:30pm. The “chase” will be on again this year as the women (the foxes) start 5 minutes ahead of the men (the hounds).

The race course will be a USATF certified 5k (3.1 miles). It will start in Newport, Kentucky, cross the Purple People Bridge, run down to Friendship Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, then head back to Newport. The race itself begins at 7:30 p.m.

New this year is the After Party of all after parties that will take place on the Purple People Bridge! If you aren’t a runner, you can join us for the after-party only! There are many ways to support our goal of raising money for people with disabilities!
