Run The Beat In Grundy County, Raising Money For Illinois Special
Olympics

The Run the Beat 5K proceeds go to benefit the Law Enforcement
Torch Run for Special Olympics. The course is paved and flat. The
last half-mile is a slight down hill for a great stretch to the
finish! Distance is USATF certified. Race is a CARA Registered
Race and a circuit race with the Prairie State Road Runners. Food
and music provided. T-shirts to every participant. Discounts for
CARA members and those who register on line.

Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers.
Medals will be given to the top three male and female finishers
in 16 separate age categories! From 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19,
etc. to 80 and over.

Parking available in Gould Park and the Morris High School
parking lot located across the street.
