Hey everyone! This may seem a bit early but our group has been working hard on the upcoming J4J Marathon coming this September. The marathon helps to raise money for a feeding program in the Kabiria slum. Last year we surpassed our goal and were able to raise enough money to feed the kids twice a week for a whole year! Let’s see if we can do it again! Or better yet, surpass it!

There will be a half and full marathon that participants will have the option to run, bike or walk. Start date is Saturday September 25th at 9 am in St. Elmo, IL. Winners of the race and people with the highest amounts donated will be recognized after the race.

Also, there is a spaghetti dinner hosted by the First Church of God St. Elmo starting at 6pm the night before (Friday, September 24th). This dinner is open to the public and donations are welcome.
