race info>> Great River Bridge Race includes a 6 mile/race walk and a 2.2 mile fitness run/walk. Only the 6 mile event is timed.

course>> This race starts and finishes at the foot of the bridge. The first few blocks loop around back through town and up snake alley before continuing across the bridge into Illinois off the main road to some secondary blacktop roads (see picture in heading at top center of page) Runners then return back across the bridge and finish in front of the Port Of Burlington Authority Building.
