Galena - Put Your Foot Down Against Violence 5K/10K
5K/10K Run/Walk registration begins at 7:30 am with race start time of 8am. Begins at Recreation Park in Galena Il and travels along the scenic Galena River and part of the Galena Hiking and Biking Trail. It is an "out and back" style run/walk with water at both turn arounds. Registration is $20 and includes tshirt and goody bag. Refreshments following race. More information and to register on line: www.choices4you.org. Proceeds go to the CHOICES Domestic Violence Program and the Riverview Center Sexual Assault and Abuse services. Also sponsored by the Jo Daviess County State's Attorney's Office.
