Hello Fellow Trail Runners,

Mike and Adam ,the Race Directors for the Farmdale Trail Run and NEW CRUD 8 Hour Trail Run, http://www.facebook.com/l/e63b1;www.crud8trailrun.com hope you had a wonderful winter and have those trail shoes mud ridden by now.

We are very excited to announce that the Farmdale Trail Run is now open for registration and equally excited to let you know we have added a 50 mile option for those who insisted more loops of Farmdale were needed. Every year we solicit feedback from our entrants and are pleased to announce in effort to help get "greener" we have eliminated paper registration and have gone on-line only.

As if this news wasn't enough!!!

We are very excited to add a new race to the Central IL Trail Runners Alliance, http://www.facebook.com/l/e63b1;www.citra.org . Announcing the CRUD 8 Trail Run , http://www.facebook.com/l/e63b1;www.crud8trailrun.com, this event is an 8 hour Solo OR Relay event on the beautiful trails of Jubilee State Park just outside of Peoria IL on Saturday May 22nd 2010. The event will allow you to run alone or with a group of two or four on a 3.1 mile trail loop to see how many miles and how much fun you can rack up in 8 hours(please visit the website for all the details)

A portion of the proceeds are to be donated to benefit local veterans, specifically the General Whayne Downing Home for Veterans in Peoria IL, http://www.facebook.com/l/e63b1;www.goodwillpeo.org/article_53.shtml.

This will be a great chance to enter an event where win/lose or draw everyone finishes at the same time. Here is just a taste of what to expect, unique finisher awards for all, Chip timing for each entrant solo or relay, a great post race party with adult beverages supplied by one of our great sponsors, all the trash talk you can take throughout the day as well as special divisions from Military, Fire/Police, Clydesdale and more!!

So go out get a team together or come run alone and be prepared to meet some great folks and benefit some even greater ones!!!
