Cornbelt Running Club Chili Chase 2010

Cornbelt Running Club Chili Chase, Duck Creek Trail, Quad Cities USA

We ran the Chili Chase today, what a great race. They had a record crowd of over 350 runners. There was plenty of great food and drink. Best of all was the hot chili and barbecues. Race director John Parker puts on great race. Thanks John for all the hard work and that of all the volunteers.

Frank Bay, CBRC Webmaster, was there with his results crew. They are the fastest I have ever seen. He even had last year’s results there before the race on a laptop for all to see and this years results after the race. How does he do it?

Dale Manley announced the he will put on the East Moline Firecracker this year. He is an experienced race director and will have a good race with quick results.

Jean Roeder announced the Clinton Easter Seals https://secure.getmeregistered.com/get_information.php?event_id=3024 will be March 21, 2010. She puts on great race along the Mississippi in Clinton, IA to support the Easter Seals Foundation. She is really a go-getter I have lost track of the number races she directs every year.

Barb Lauff race director for the Music In Motion 5K race http://www.musicinmotion5k.org/ announced that it would be August 7, 2010. She is orchestra director and puts on the race to help buy band instruments for those that cannot.
