Warner Park Beach
1000m swim, 5000m run
Competition begins with swimmers entering the water at the north end of the beach and swimming in a counter-clockwise direction around a 1000m triangular course. Upon exiting the water at the south end of the beach, competitors immediately enter the transition area and will follow an out-and-back run course that will start and finish near the beach house at Warner Park Beach. As athletes begin their 5000m run, they will proceed southward along Woodward Drive; turning left at Sheridan Drive, then again at the park path entering Warner Park. The course follows this path to the turnaround point and continues back to Warner Park Beach and the finish line.
