It is my goal to run a race in all 102 counties in Illinois. I'm 46 and would like to achieve this goal before I am 60. If, as I near the end of my goal, I find some counties without official races, I will run my own 10k in the county seat. Read more »

On an absolutely perfect day for running I ran in today's Conquer the Hill Half Marathon in Princeton, Illinois in Bureau County. What a good race! Read more »

Second Place! It has a certain ring to it, doesn’t it? You have to be good to come in second place and today I came in second place in the first annual Race for the Heart 5k in Marshall, Illinois the county seat of Clark County. Read more »

No more snow! There I said it. It is February 23 and I am saying no to snow. Well ok, we are in the middle of an extended drought so I wouldn't mind some more snow this winter. Read more »

Pope County - River to River Relay
